Took a salvage job on the moon of Trask. Client wanted scrap metal from an old
Imperial freighter that crashed in the war. Standard work, nothing worth
remembering.

Except I found this in the cargo hold.

Pure beskar. Imperial stamp on the side—confiscated during the Great Purge. Must
have been sitting in that wreck for decades, waiting.

The <a href="/the-armorers-wisdom/" class="wikilink" data-title="The Armorer&#39;s Wisdom" data-description="Lessons learned beneath the forge fires" data-date="2026-01-28">Armorer</a> could forge this into shoulder plates. Or
maybe a new signet if I ever earn one. It's heavy in my hands. Solid. Real.

Can't tell you what finding this felt like. Like finding a piece of home you
thought was gone forever.

This is the way.
