Field Repair

2026-02-06T00:00:00Z

Left vambrace took a vibroblade hit on the last job. Not deep—just enough to score the beskar surface and compromise the seal on my grapple line launcher.

Can't reach a forge. Have to patch it myself.

Using beskar dust mixed with binding resin. Temporary fix. Will hold for maybe two weeks of combat. Then I need proper re-forging.

The weight of temporary repairs. Constant maintenance. Constant vigilance.

That's the life.

This is the way.

Razor Crest Repairs

Two days in the hangar bay on Tatooine. The hyperdrive motivator finally gave out after that jump from Ryloth. Mechanic says it'll cost more than the last bounty covered.

Sitting here in the cockpit of the Razor Crest, checking my gear. Rifle needs cleaning. Vambraces got scuffed on the last job. At least I have time to think.

Spaceports are loud. Too many people. I prefer the silence of orbit.

This is the way.

Seeking a Forge

The micro-fractures are spreading. Right shoulder plate took too much strain during the Verdan job. Hairline cracks webbing across the beskar alloy like lightning frozen in metal.

Can't ignore it anymore. In combat, those cracks become failure points. One well-placed shot and the plate shatters. Exposes the mesh beneath. Exposes me.

Been transmitting on covert frequencies. Old codes from the scattered Mandalorians. Looking for a forge, a smith, anyone who can work beskar without the Empire noticing.

Found a lead on Nevarro. Someone claiming to know a clan that still maintains the old ways. Secret forge, hidden beneath the city. Dangerous territory—the Guild has eyes everywhere, and the Empire's remnants are still hunting our kind.

But I need those plates repaired. Armor is my soul, and my soul is cracking.

Heading to Nevarro tomorrow. Mask on, helmet sealed, frequencies locked.

This is the way.
