Acquiring new beskar from a questionable source

<p>Found a dealer on Tatooine selling &quot;authentic Mandalorian scrap.&quot; Usually means painted durasteel and lies.</p> <p>But this... this was real.</p> <p>Small ingot, maybe two kilos. Pre-Imperial stamp. He wanted ten thousand credits. I offered five and a threat.</p> <p>Paid six. Fair price for both of us.</p> <p>The <a href="/beskar-grades/" class="wikilink" data-title="Beskar Grades" data-description="Comparing beskar alloys from different eras" data-date="2026-02-08" data-preview="Comparing beskar alloys from different eras">grade</a> is good. Not perfect, but workable. Can patch the damaged sections on my left greaves and have enough left for emergency repairs.</p> <p>Question is: where did he get it? Real beskar doesn't just appear. Someone died for this metal. Someone's armor was stripped.</p> <p>I didn't ask. Sometimes the answers are heavier than the questions.</p> <p>Will take it to a forge when I find one. Make it part of me. Honor the metal. Honor the fallen.</p> <p>Related: <a href="/found-an-ancient-beskar-ingot/" class="wikilink" data-title="Found: An Ancient Beskar Ingot" data-description="A rare discovery on a forgotten moon" data-date="2026-02-04" data-preview="A rare discovery on a forgotten moon">other finds</a>, <a href="/seeking-a-forge/" class="wikilink" data-title="Seeking a Forge" data-description="Finding a forge to repair micro-fractures in my shoulder plates" data-date="2026-01-27" data-preview="Finding a forge to repair micro-fractures in my shoulder plates">still looking</a></p> <p>This is the way.</p>
